Abstract Submission deadline for National Rural ITS Conference Extended

The abstract submission deadline for the National Rural ITS Conference has been extended. All abstracts must be received by Friday, February 22, 2008.
"North to the Future" is the theme for the Conference. The event will be held September 3-5, 2008 in Anchorage, Alaska. The conference will provide presentations, panel and roundtable discussions, as well as technical tours that will address Native American ITS transportation issues, vehicle infrastructure integration (VII), interregional ITS applications, rural/frontier transit and paratransit, rural EMS, multimodal connections & information sharing, commercial vehicle and freight mobility, road weather information systems, and climate change impacts.
