Deadline for submitting abstracts at the 2007 National Rural ITS (NRITS) Conference approaching
The deadline for submitting abstracts for presentation at the 2007 National Rural ITS (NRITS) Conference is Friday, February 16, 2007. Submittal information can be found online at the NRITS Conference website. There, you can download the Call for Abstracts to learn more about submittal criteria and presentation opportunities.
The Conference is being held in conjunction with the 2007 Fall/Winter meeting of ITS America's Commercial Vehicle and Freight Mobility (CVFM) Forum. CVFM focuses on issues and topics specific to the commercial vehicle sector. Participants include individuals from motor carriers, railroads, state and federal enforcement and administrative personnel, deep water ports, other shipping and commercial vehicle operations as well as supplies of intermodal freight technology and services. As such, this conference will include sessions and presentations that focus on commercial vehicle operations as they relate to rural intelligent transportation technologies and issues.
