Shelley Row is the new Program Director of the JPO
FHWA has announced the selection of Ms. Shelley J. Row to head
the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Joint Program Office
(JPO). ITS Midwest congratulates Shelley on her new position and
we look forward to working with her.
Since 2003, Shelley has served as the Associate Executive Director for
Technical Programs at the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE). Prior
to joining ITE, she worked for almost 16 years with FHWA in both
Headquarters and the field. She served as a Transportation Engineer in
FHWA's North Carolina, Arizona and California Division Offices, and as an
Engineering Systems Manager in the Agency's Georgia Division. While in FHWA
Headquarters, she served as Travel Management Coordinator, ITS Deployment
Team Leader and Director, Office of Transportation Operations from April
2000 to June 2003.
