The Intelligent Transportation Society
(ITS) of the Midwest is a state chapter of ITS America
comprised of the four states of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky
and Ohio. Our mission is to promote the development
and deployment of intelligent transportation systems in our
region and beyond. Some of our members have been in
the ITS business since its inception and are involved in all
facets of planning, development, deployment, and research.
Membership is open to organizations or individuals with an interest in ITS deployment and development. State DOTs, transportation and planning organizations, private companies that provide ITS products and services, research organizations, academic institutions, and other private and public organizations with an interest in transportation benefit from membership. Join ITS Midwest today and play a role in shaping the future of transportation!
Members of ITS America are entitled to up to three complimentary chapter memberships, based on their ITS America dues, and may select ITS Midwest as one of their designated chapters. An organization which is not a member of ITS America (or one that has used up their complimentary chapter memberships) may join the ITS Midwest chapter for $250.00 per year. Individuals not affiliated with an organization may become members of the chapter for a reduced cost of $75.00 per year. Corporate members may have up to 12 individuals that are entitled to membership benefits. Dues are good for membership from January 1, 2012 through December 31, 2012. Membership benefits include:
- Peer networking events & developing public-private partnerships
- Outreach, education, and support for technical & planning activities
- Professional development through committees, seminars, and other training opportunities
- Quarterly issues of ITS Midwest Newsletter
